Beach Life Down Under

Our next stop was Noosa Beach with its stunning beauty, friendly locals, and foodie restaurants. We stayed at the Ocean Breeze Resort in the bustling tourist town of Noosa Heads. The apartment is a block off the ocean and centrally located to all my favorites, dining, shopping, and sand. Noosa is a very popular destination in Queensland, and early restaurant reservations are essential. The beaches are stunning with light golden sand and the water an aqua blue. There is a national park with jaw-dropping views of the coastline and ocean. I walked the national park path a couple of the days I was there. The humidity almost killed me, but it was well worth the scenery. One of my favorite sports, besides dining, is shopping and there were plenty of shops to keep me busy for the duration of our time there. And an abundance of store employees eager to help!

Hi, thanks for dropping by!

Debbie Thomas came to Paso Robles from Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue a slower pace of life...or so she thought.  She and her then business partner started planting field greens, fruit and nut trees on the Paso Robles property with a strong belief in eating locally and organically. Nine-hundred trees and various row crops later, the property became Thomas Hill Farms, and she and her partner began producing a local CSA program.
